Frequently asked questions
How do I compare two graphics cards?
Pick a card in each field, then run the comparison. You get measured FPS game by game, the cheapest live price, the FPS-per-euro ratio, VRAM, TDP and community builds using those cards.
Where do the FPS numbers come from?
The FPS come from our own benchmarks across 148 games, measured on a Ryzen 9 9950X3D reference CPU so the graphics card is never the bottleneck. Every card is tested under the same conditions, which makes the gaps directly comparable.
Are the prices up to date?
Yes. DropReference collects prices and availability from around thirty retailers several times a day and shows the cheapest price found for your region. Prices differ by zone (EUR, GBP, USD).
Which graphics card should I buy for gaming?
Start from your resolution and target FPS, not from a model name. At 1080p a recent mid-range card handles most games. At 1440p and 4K, look first at the FPS-per-euro ratio and VRAM. The comparison tool ranks cards on both.
